What does ending hunger mean to you?
Ending hunger means that no children have to rely on school to give them their only meal of the day, parents aren't begging on the streets to support their families, and every person is able to experience the feeling of sitting around a table eating a meal with the ones that mean the most to them.

What is your favorite Cheeky product?
My favorite Cheeky product is the designlovefest for Cheeky clear Cheers cups!

What’s a normal day in the office look like for you?
No day is ever the same. I learn something new every time I'm at Cheeky that I can't wait to use in my future. We're treated just like the rest of the team being able to sit in on calls, meetings, and big decisions which really means a lot. On my second day at Cheeky, I got to be a part of the marketing brainstorm where all sorts of creative ideas were flowing. It was so cool to put to put to practice what I've been learning in school for so long.

When you're not at the Cheeky office you...
Babysit and go to school. I love the kids I babysit and look forward to seeing them every week. I also go to yoga, hang out with my friends, go out to eat, and try to see my family as much as I can.

How do you define wellness?
Wellness is feeling good in your everyday life. Wellness is treating your body right in order to be as active as you can. Wellness is putting the right stuff into your body in order to spend as much time with the people around you doing things you love.

Song That Always Makes You Dance: Any Justin Bieber song!

What does ending hunger mean to you?
Ending hunger means no more starving children, worried parents, or struggling families. Ending hunger means equal rights and hope for all, not just a fortunate few.  Ending hunger means justice has been served.

What’s your favorite Cheeky product?
My favorite Cheeky product is the designlovefest for Cheeky YAY! hot cup. I am an avid coffee drinker and I think the light pink and polka dot cup with the green sleeve is the way to go. It makes drinking coffee a lot more fun. You have to have it!

What’s a normal day in the office look like for you?
A normal day in the office starts off with tracking social media accounts. After I finish that, I usually work on blog posts or update Cheeky’s Pinterest boards. My day also includes packing boxes and making shipping labels, along with working on the weekly hunger newsletter. Lastly, I help plan and organize future cause-related volunteer events. My favorite project so far has to be working on Cheeky’s Pinterest boards. I really enjoy seeing projects come to life and I love working with different patterns and colors!

When you’re not at the Cheeky office, you…
Can find me at the animal shelter. I volunteer there on the weekends and love every minute of it.

What does wellness mean to you?
Wellness, to me, is being both physically and mentally sound. In order to have complete wellness, I think one’s diet has to consist nutritious and accessible meals in order to be fulfilled, focused, and in good health.

PAIGE

Age: 21
Hometown: Moraga, CA
Major: Communication Studies, Sociology Minor
Favorite Color: Dusty rose
Favorite Holiday: Christmas because it's near my birthday and I love all the food
Song That Always Makes You Dance: "All Star" by Smashmouth is my jam!

What does ending hunger mean to you?
To me, it means doing anything and everything to become more aware of how we can lessen the number of people that constantly face hunger. Whether this means donating money or meals to different organizations, or posting on social media facts about hunger in America, it all helps to fight and create awareness of how many people are food-insecure.

What is your favorite Cheeky product?
OBSESSED with the new designlovefest for Cheeky collection! The splatter plates are the trendiest paper plate I ever did see!

What’s your favorite project so far in your internship?
I think my favorite project has been creating a press organizer in-house for Cheeky. It is fun to get my hands on our press hits and clippings, and it allows me to see all the success we are having in the media!

When you're not at the Cheeky office you...
I am probably in class or snacking and watching Top Chef or Real Housewives with my roommates!

How do you define wellness?
When I think of wellness I think of having a healthy body and mind. This not only means staying active and eating right, but also surrounding myself with happy people that help me to better myself.
