CORRIN

  • Age: 21
  • Hometown: Seal Beach, CA
  • Major: Sociology
  • Favorite Halloween Costume: In 5th grade, my friends and I were a box of crayons and that was pretty cute!

What does "make mealtime matter" mean to you?
"Make mealtime matter" simply means getting friends and family to sit down at the table together for dinner and engage in fun, light-hearted conversation as a group!

What other causes are important to you?
I am very passionate about volunteering with the elderly. If I can take the time out of my day to go and visit a senior center and engage in simple conversations with someone who may be lonely, that is all that matters. I know from personal experience, the visits by guests brighten their day, and if I do this now, I would hope that someone would do the same for me if I was ever in this position.

What is your favorite Cheeky product?
I LOVE the cold cups! They are all so cute, bright and fun.

What is your favorite thing about interning at Cheeky?
My favorite thing is the amount of creativity that flows throughout the office and the numerous amount of opportunities to learn by engaging in different aspects of the company, like picking products to propose, or see what goes into product packaging and product comparison. Cheeky is never boring and there is always plenty to do, keeping me on my toes which is one of my favorite parts!

CAROLINE

  • Age: 21
  • Hometown: York, ME
  • Major: Marketing
  • Favorite Halloween Costume: I had a full red M&M costume when I was in elementary school that I really loved.

What does "make mealtime matter" mean to you?
A meal goes deeper than what is just on the table. It’s about people coming together to enjoy food and spend time together. It’s sort of like a sense of community and oneness.

What other causes are important to you?
Another cause that is important to me is the environment. This started when I was in middle school and did beach clean ups with my friends and family and saw just how much pollution there was. I was a part of my high school’s environmental club as well, where we tried to spread awareness on the issue of pollution in our streets, airways, and waterways. We also would organize beach cleanups, bike to school days, etc. This is a cause that I definitely am still passionate about, especially now living in Los Angeles with a lot more air pollution that I had growing up in Maine.

What is your favorite thing about interning at Cheeky?
My favorite thing about interning at cheeky is all the wonderful people who work here! It’s like a little family- everyone is really nice and fun.

What other job would you do at Cheeky if you weren't a marketing intern?
I really like finance class so I could see myself doing something with that.
